Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living Unveils New Corner Café and Spring Courtyards

On Friday, March 22nd guests and residents attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Corner Café at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living community.   All in attendance were honored to have 100 year old U.S. Veteran resident, Mel Smith, lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the ceremony.

Guests and residents enjoyed delicious pastries and scones by Chef Mike, and coffee, tea and lemonade from the Corner Café.  The Corner Café’ is open to residents all day, every day and is replenished several times a day.  There is no charge for the snacks, fresh fruit or drinks.

After the cutting of the ribbon, guests and residents strolled in the newly landscaped courtyards complete with a gazebo, fountain and a variety of spring flowers.  Live entertainment followed in the activity room where residents sang along with musician Bill Floyd, a regular favorite at Magnolia Gardens.

“It was a wonderful event!” said Phillip McCollum, Administrator of Magnolia Gardens.  For more information about Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living community, please visit our website at https://www.magnoliagardensalf.com/ or visit our Facebook Page.
