🚿 Small Improvements, BIG Impact at Palm Lake Village! 💙
Sometimes, the biggest improvements to someone's quality of life start with the smallest changes.
The Pinellas County Housing Authority (PCHA) is excited to celebrate the successful completion of six bathroom tub conversions at Palm Lake Village, our 55+ community in Dunedin!
Made possible through generous grant funding from Senior Citizens Services (SCS), administered through Pinellas Community Foundation, these upgrades are helping residents enjoy safer, easier, and more accessible bathing experiences.
And the impact goes well beyond the bathroom!
For one resident, getting into the bathtub previously required using a step stool for support. Thanks to the conversion, that daily challenge is now a thing of the past. Another resident shared how meaningful it was simply to be considered for an improvement without having to advocate for herself.
All six conversions are complete, and 100% of the grant funding has been put to work improving residents' homes.
💙 A heartfelt thank-you to Senior Citizens Services for supporting improvements that make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
At PCHA, our mission is to provide quality, affordable housing and improve the lives of residents. Projects like this are a perfect example of that mission in action.
Because affordable housing is just the beginning. It's what we do to improve lives within those homes that makes the difference.
