🗂️ Becky Marasco
Financial Coordinator
Becky’s career in finance began with a foundation in accounts receivable and collections, where she developed a strong eye for detail and a knack for keeping financial records accurate and organized. From there, she gained hands-on experience in purchasing before stepping into the role of Office Manager at an assisted living facility.
As Office Manager, Becky wore many hats and became the central hub of financial operations. That role sharpened her ability to manage multiple priorities, balance customer service with regulatory accuracy, and keep financial processes running smoothly in a complex environment. It was during this time that Becky discovered her true passion: finance. Wanting to broaden her skills and build a long-term career, she transitioned into public sector finance and joined the Housing Authority as a Financial Coordinator.
In her current role, Becky handles accounts payable, 1099 processing, and HAP payments while also serving as a resource for staff and vendors with financial questions. She has recently expanded her expertise to include bank reconciliations, financial monitoring for smaller properties, and supporting audit preparation.
Becky is known for her diligence, her commitment to continuous learning, and her ability to balance both the details and the bigger picture when it comes to financial management. As Financial Coordinator, she plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across all financial functions, helping maintain the Housing Authority’s reputation for strong financial stewardship.
