🌟Meet The Visionaries

👋 A Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to PCHA!

We’re so glad you found your way here.

At the Pinellas County Housing Authority, we believe that housing is the beginning—not the end—of someone’s journey. Every day, we serve more than 8,500 Pinellas County residents by providing not just housing, but support, stability, and opportunity.

From affordable communities we own and manage, to rental assistance in the private market, to programs that help families grow and thrive—we are proud to serve with heart and purpose.

🏘️ What We Do

The Pinellas County Housing Authority was established in 1965 with a mission that still drives us today:

“To provide quality, affordable housing and improve the lives of residents.”

We’re an independent special district of the State of Florida, created under Chapter 421, Florida Statutes. And while our foundation is housing, our impact goes far beyond buildings.

Here’s how we serve Pinellas County:

  • Manage and maintain a diverse portfolio of affordable housing communities

  • Provide rental assistance through the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program

  • Support residents with coaching, financial literacy, and first-time homebuyer tools

  • Partner with local organizations to deliver wraparound services and resources

At PCHA, we do more than provide housing—we create pathways forward.
